Our client is a global Financial Services firm who is looking recruit for an experienced Credit Risk specialist with Basel II experience.
Your role:
This individual will complement the existing Credit risk team and will be required to take responsibility for specific quantitative or business areas of credit risk within a credit or multi-disciplinary engagement team. This is likely to include:
Credit model specification and design
Review of risk framework or risk governance structures
Basel II implementation projects
Model calibration, parameterisation and validation.
The successful candidate will be required either to manage small teams carrying out credit risk engagements, or to take responsibility for areas of credit risk as part of a larger - possibly multi-disciplinary - engagement team.
The successful candidate will also take responsibility for specific areas of credit risk within a credit or multi-disciplinary engagement team. Apart from project delivery responsibilities, support will be given for other aspects of the team`s work including sales and marketing, research and development and knowledge management.
Requirements:
Degree Educated
Minimum of 3 years experience within either a well regarded risk management consultancy environment or a financial institution. The successful individual could have worked as a business-focused risk manager, or a credit analyst reviewing complex transactions, or in a risk consultancy
You should be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge in one or more of:
Basel II requirements, credit processes, rating systems, risk governance or portfolio modeling.
